Keeping up with the Indiana Jones'
I often think this business of blogging is better left to the more adventurous people. But the more adventurous people are too busy cliff diving or whatever to ever be blogging.
But let's be real, I'm a boring old sod. I try to eat right, but oft fail. I try to workout, but not near enough. I read a bit, and go to bed early. I make appalling mistakes, and I'm on the wrong side of 35. What can I possibly blog about but past imagined glories, or pipe dreams.
Paul Weller's Broken Stones is a genius song.
I who have nothing as Ben E King once sang. This blog is caught in a fishing net, and is running out of air, or perhaps the tiles have been too damaged to ever return to earth.
I hope practice isn't rained out tonight, but it's looking that way.
Maybe a full page ad in the Austin Chronicle is in order 'I want my Band back'

Your blog and the other blogs I read are great because they are NOT written by cliff divers, but instead by the common man with real life stories and problems and things I can relate to. The mental image of you sitting at a desk imagining the banana splits doing Sonics songs is way better than reading about some dude climbing Mt Everest.
